Angry Birds, the acclaimed addictive game is out for Windows and Mac. I had earlier played it on a iPhone and a Android Phone. I wanted to try out the Windows version, so i downloaded it.

Whats Cool About Android?

Android is a catchy name. It is not just an “Operating System.” Forget being a strong competitor to Apple iOS or Google-Oracle issues, it is all corporate rivalry. Android is neatly built OS with core written in C and some packages written in C++. But all Android apps are developed in Java but run on a special virtual machine, Dalvik meant for Android.
Smart phones are not meant to be used like classic Nokia 1100. Again, when i mean ‘use a phone’ i mean exploit its functionalities. Android functionalities are well thought and implemented. The Interface is simple, standard and easy to understand and use. There is everything a computer OS or a hand-held device OS is supposed to have.
